Cognac Joins Crimson Racing

​When he started as a Freshman at the University of Alabama in August, Alex had already looked much into the Formula SAE program at Alabama. Crimson Racing is a student design team under The University of Alabama’s Mechanical Engineering Department. The team works to design, build, and manufacture a formula style race car which competes annually in Formula SAE competitions. The competition focuses on exposing students to a businesslike environment of the design and manufacture of a production vehicle.

As a marketing major in Alabama's Culverhouse College of Commerce, Alex is an active member of the business team for Crimson Racing. He helps work on the business competiton piece for the international competition in Michigan as well as sponsorship marketing for the team.
