About Alex

Ever since holding Tony Stewart's helmet at the age of 3 as it came off of the hauler at Joe Gibbs Racing in his native Charlotte, NC, Alex has known exactly what he wanted to do...race.
Beginning his career at the age of 8 in indoor karting, Alex quickly learned how to drive competitively at indoor tracks in Charlotte, such as The Pit and Victory Lane Karting. By age 11 he was a consistent visitor to the podium and was ready to move to the next phase of his racing career.
In 2012 his curiosity took him from stock car racing to a focus on open wheel and he moved to the world of competitive open wheel sprint kart racing. Having competed in large national kart races and performing well at the Skip Barber Karts to Cars Shootout, Alex now plans to move up into formula style single seaters for the 2018 season.
